A campaign for the next 250 years of American forests
Moment
Most conversation about American forests dwells on what we've lost. What we've cut, burned, and failed to protect. The semiquincentennial hands the country one shared moment to ask a better question instead: what can our forests become in the next 250 years?
Goal
"In October, I'm running the Moab 240 Ultramarathon, plus 10 miles, to plant 250,000 trees. I'll be documenting the journey, but I need your help. Join me in raising awareness for the future of forests in the United States."
Impact
Planted across the U.S. with American Forests, chosen for long-term survival and real community impact, not raw volume. The campaign raises money to support American Forests' planting work and starts conversations about the power of our forests.
Who you're running with
My life's work is trying to save U.S. forests. I'm the founder and CEO of Cambium, the first tech-native forestry company, and I've spent a decade building the economic infrastructure for healthy American forests. I live and breathe this every day. I'd love your help bringing people together here.
